Posted August 24, 20186 yr Hi, We recently upgraded from V3.1.2 to V4.3.5 . We had members divided in Member Groups. Although the upgrade seem to go through OK with no known errors, only the registered user and moderator user groups remained intact. All the other user groups were missing and their members set to to permanently banned. As there is no date code on the ban or a way t distinguish between banned in error and banned because they were originally a spammer I'm stuck. Also, there is no way to bulk unban users, and the group that is missing was over 1,500 strong - too much to do manually even if I did have a list. Can anyone advise of what went wrong?
August 24, 20186 yr I have no idea what could have gone wrong here, but if you submit a ticket we can certainly assist you with getting the issue rectified.
August 24, 20186 yr Author Hi thanks for the reply, I raised a support ticket but we will have had to do a server roll back very soon as our members are being told they have been banned from the forum and its causing uproar in the organisation!
