I have noticed something since upgrading to 4.3.5 as some posts seem to keep re-appearing in the unread topic list when they have actually been read. Is this because "maybe" the poster has edited the post? Is this normal behavior now?

You should be able to test by going to the post and seeing if they edited their post recently.  I doubt it though.  

If you see a recurring pattern (like the same post appearing multiple times in the stream, or the activity stream repeating), then there's a bigger issue.  It might be a conflict with a third party app or a systems problem.

I have no way of knowing if they edited their post as I have the “Do not log edits” ticked in the ACP - I just know the post was there but don't know if it was edited or not.

- Are you using elastic search?
- Are by any chance the reappearing posts recently being split/merged/moved and in general being moderated?
- Is your community in English?

Also using "Mark Site as Read" many times but some still reappear but not all, just random posts

Nope

And Adriano since you responded many times the "Classifieds" are also reappearing days after the original listing

Thanks, I had some issues with ES that were mostly fixed, thats why I asked. 

OK, think I figured it out, the posts re-appear in the unread content list when they have been edited by the user, I guess so you don't miss anything important that might have been added or changed.
