Nathan Explosion
You would 't find it in your acp as it is nothing to do with IPS. It's an authorisation key for transferring registration of a domain, if I remember correctly, so look at your domain registrar's site for details. Lobelia Overhill
Thanks Nathan. I've tried the domain's site and they're not replying...
Joel R
It's a domain authorization code to prevent and safeguard the unauthorized transferring of your domain. Normally you can just find the EPP code in your domain registrar.
rhyker2u
In case you cannot find the EPP / 'domain transfer code' immediately? Then with some domain registrars you first need to unlock the domain for transfer in the domain backend, before the code shows (usually a mouse click extra). However to move the domain to a new server? Only the DNS settings have to be changed of the domain (to point to the new hosting). Does sound like you have both domain and (prior) hosting at the same supplier, and moving both elsewhere does have its benefits. You current 'hosting' company should be able to assist with retrieving the EPP code, although support response times of helpdesks ain't what they used to be indeed.
