I want to do a conversion from myBB for just the members that are on there.

I don't want this conversion to mess up the members that I already have on my IPB community forum. 

Can someone assure me that running this members conversion won't mess up the current existing members on my IPB, but instead just "add" to them?

Yes, you can convert other platforms into your existing site using the Converter application. It'll add any new members and not make any changes to existing members.
