Neither members or admins can see who is browsing within a topic and I have been all over the 'permissions' of members, groups and forums but can't for the life of me work it out. I can perfectly see below that I'm browsing this board +fishinsa yet that is not showing up for us ? 

Any help would be thankful 

 

It’s a widget you need to drag into the forums first.

Open the sidebar block manager on the front end and drag the Recently Browsing widget onto your forums where you want this to appear. 

OK, yes I understand that but can only add stuff to everything around the forum like at the bottom and side. The forum itself does not seem editable from there?

Yes, that is how it works and it is how you see that widget here in the forums. It was placed below the forums.

Thank you again, I just checked and it all works :) 

There are certain 'hot zones' that you can drag and drop those widgets.  You can add widgets for Who is browsing, Currently Viewing, Members, etc.
