New Arcade Plugin for Invision 4.x

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

I finally want to have back an Arcade plugin for the new versions. I am really tired to wait any longer.

I am planning to engage a freelancer programmer to do this and base it on HTML5 games. Is someone interested in this, too?

So we could share the plugin and costs.

Regards Dominik

There is none I know of.

There was an open source project called "Port of Name 0.36 emulator to java" which supports more than 500 games.

There is code you can add to persist high score.

Should be easily use REST API and handle other needs like authentication.

Not the cool flash arcade we knew but it could be looked into to add as a plugin.

Problem is time I don't have much.

I too wish this would happen, I think basing it around html5 games is good too.

Something along the lines of this, only for Invision Community, might would be great, but even something simpler would be nice to have too.

I look forward to seeing if this ever comes to fruition.

I believe there is one in the works. I hope that it is similar to IPB Pro Arcade. The 3.x version of that supports html5 games and there are tons of those available

How did you find out about that?

someone who made mods here before? why the secrecy? 😄

It is not my mod. I was given this message however. " I have it on a roadmap with a developer but it's still pre-development.  It'll be 3 - 6 months before we have anything to release."     I am sure when they have something, they will let us know.

robin williams what year is it GIF

I have not run IPB Arcade, Casino and Attack system since the 2.x days of IPB. I would also pay to get them back, as I lost them when I went to 3.x
