Lens Specifications

Recommended Posts

1. Would like to see "Lens Specifications" added to the main EXIF data.  Photographers like to see what type of lens used.

2. Additional EXIF data...  "Make" is not necessary.  The model is sufficient to know the type of camera.  Don't need to know that the "Nikon Corporation" was the company.  It's already listed in the Model;  "Nikon D300".

In the next release the Lens Model will be included in the full EXIF popup data (click the link to "View all photo EXIF information" and it will be there).

Great Stuff

Also, please add a feature so photos posted to the forum has an option to show the basic EXIF data.

We truly need this for the Photo forum.

Is the lens data feature now in IPS v4.4?

I did a check, no lens data showing.

The Lens model should now show in the EXIF data popup for Gallery images in 4.4, yes.

If you are beta testing 4.4 and do not see it, please submit a ticket with access to your test installation, and put FAO Brandon in the title, referencing this topic. I'll need to take a look at your site to see why it might not be working.

If you're just asking to make sure the change is coming in 4.4, then yes, it is.

I'm not sure what happened. I now see the lens model at the bottom of the  View all photo EXIF. It would be much nicer if the lens model also shows on the right with an icon. Thanks
