adding a block in template? 4.2

i want to add a main block ( cause i have sidbarblocks ) under the navbar with home and unread content

in globaltemplate its everywhere , i only want it on the index page - so where i have to put it ?

Yeah, we need option to enable\disable the block for all topics or the one of: each topic can be customized with exclusive blocks.

There is no function built into the system. We need a button to disable the through block so that we can set up each page with the blocks.

i created a block under

{template="ipsfocus_socialButtons" if="theme.focus_social" app="core" group="global" params=""}
                        </div>

 

but the block is everywhere , i want it only in the index page !

What index? We don’t know your site. If you mean forums, the index template is forums → front → index → index.

Keep in mind that this will show next to the sidebar, not above it. That’s how the templates work. There is no “below the navbar” but “just for the forum index” template.

But it shows everywhere . Can i put any code so thats only on the forum index page ?
