Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted March 9, 20187 yr Say I have a really complex footer, and I want to be able to include some code in it that I would need to cache so queries aren't run on every pageload. Well right now you can just include the widgetContainer template anywhere you want and define it as a location! It does everything you need and you can plop widgets anywhere. However, in IPS\core\modules\front\system\widgets it's only letting areas of sidebar, header, and footer be accepted, which stinks. Could this be removed, or a way to define custom widget areas? Thanks!
