Nuker Posted February 3, 2018 Share Posted February 3, 2018 Hi, I dont know if this has to do anything with the server but when I edit a template bit and save it I dont see the changes reflected on the live site. I went to recache skin sets and that doesnt work either. The only way to do it is by downloading the file and edit it directly so I can reupload it to the server. What can I do to fix this? opentype Posted February 4, 2018 Share Posted February 4, 2018 Normally, template code changes are live instantly. I do it all the time. But if you just say “it doesn’t work” we can’t know why it doesn’t work. Neither do you describe your setup and your specific steps, nor do we have access to your server to replicate and narrow down any problems. Are you in Designer’s Mode by any chance? I have no special setup whatsoever and in fact, many times I dont have this problem so it seems to happen at pure random. By the way, whats mod_security? I just select my template, click on the template bit I want to edit, I make the edits and then press the save button. Also, I dont think its the server because when I make the edits directly on the template files the changes show up right away so its definitely something wrong with the IPB cache.
