Do you need to track the activities of specific members on your forum? Track Members will allow you to track the steps of any member as they interface with your forum and it is highly configurable to include settings for time frame and a multitude of trackable actions (Account Actions, Profile Actions, Messenger Actions, Content Actions). It also provides settings for automatic member tracking for members being warned as well as new members.

Logging is working fine as long as the member is tracked. No prob there.

I don't see anything related with Tracking app in the SYSTEM LOG.

Ok thanks.

I did a STOP ALL TRACKING and ru-run tool for all groups I wanted. I queried to check for each group if there are any NOT tracked members and all returned 0. That's good.

Now I'll have just to wait to see if for some reason tracked members are somehow untracked, because I think I saw something like that. Tracked people after some time to become untracked. I'll check later or tomorrow.

Updated and checking. Will report later.

Also, every time I update the app I need to re-run the tool for all groups to track. Is that normal? If I don't, when I click the Track Members tab on the frontpage of the site it doesn't show any member being tracked.

I re-updated the latest version and it didn't do it to me again. Can't say anything else. Maybe my mistake.

Is it still not compatible ?

Probably tracking on each change of profile fields editing.

Ok, I thought I'd give that a try, regardlkess, without disabling other 3rd party resources.

Essentially I removed the out-of date version from the ACP, next removed the old code from the server, and then installed the new version.

It threw a no permission error. However, when checking the applications, it was there, approximately in the middle of the app-llst, disabled, completely lined up to the left.

Clicking on Permissions allowed me to change permissions, and after saving it disappeared to the uninstalled add-ons section.

I could then install it, and it works!

Lost all data, however, but at least it is installed now, and appears to be working :).

Kind regards, Wim

Hi @Adriano Faria . Is this app fully compatible with IPB 4.6 ?

  • 1 year later...

I've had this module for two years or so.  I upgraded my Invision forum and this module didn't port over because apparently it wasn't upgraded to support PHP8 if I understood the upgrade message correctly.

I tried contacting Adriano with a private message and got a repeated tongue lashing but no answer to my question on whether he was going to upgrade the module for the latest forum version (or if he had already).

So after all this the only thing I have learned about whether this module is or will be compatible with the current forum, is simply that the developer doesn't support his product in private messages.

So I've canceled my renewal of it.
