Data at Your Fingertips: Explore Our New Reporting and Statistical Capabilities By Ryan Ashbrook Tuesday at 01:29 PM
The Britain
Right now we're setting up a test site a test.domain.com to get the initial site work done. Once finished we plan to migrate to domain.com. I didn't realize there was a charge for changing the license key domain name, so the first site I setup at 127.0.0.1 to run the software for a bit. Now I've reset the license key (apparently you get one free one) and installed at test.domain.com. I have two questions. 1. When we migrate to domain.com, are we going to have to pay $15 to reset the license again, or will it just work? 2. What do we need to change in the database to make the changes from test.domain.com to domain.com?
Rhett
Just submit a support ticket when you are ready to make the final change, we can assist you, there are no database changes though, just update the conf_global.php file with the url and clear the cache by running the support tool, simple as pie! Nathan Explosion
Log a ticket with support and explain the situation to them (it will likely be changed free of charge, as it's on same domain) No database modification....edit conf_global.php, change the site url, save, open the ACP, run the support tool to clear cache.
