I really like the database feature of IPS and especially articles. In the past I used Wordpress and WPMUDEVs RSS Importer. Would be nice to see a feature like this for IPS. Seems truly bizarre there is still no built-in import to Pages Databases/Articles via RSS functionality with relevant import options (for images etc), when the ability exists for Blogs, Forums, Pages widgets. I think it really holds Pages back as a CMS. I'd also like to see support for XML/JSON-LD shared content import into Pages widgets and databases too, the usage possibilities with data import are pretty cool, crime data, weather data, scientific data, flight/ship data etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It doesn't allow you to map an image yet - but @Fosters says he is working on this feature. Currently you have to manually add the image after the import. I will consider it after reading the support topics. of course manually adding an image everytime for every article that will be in the rss , is something that makes the procedure not ideal. Oh i just saw, it needs the pages app.... which i dont own since i want that import to happen from my wordpress homepage. . So,... that plugin is a no no for me.
