Hello. I cannot understand why the Facebook Login guide of IPS not works. I followed all steps for two different platforms (same versions, same theme...) but in the 2nd one it not works and I have a URL/domain error.

It is possible to know if the Facebook Login 2.11 API works with IPS 4.2 platform? Can someone help me?

Yes guys! :)

Solution is this:

In the Oauth Redirect URLS section

SHOTD.jpg.38cce76275c9d39dc89935876d0af2

you have to insert

http://[YOU_BOARD]/applications/core/interface/facebook/auth.php

Solved! :)

now the error come

URL Blocked: This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not whitelisted in the app’s Client OAuth Settings. Make sure Client and Web OAuth Login are on and add all your app domains as Valid OAuth Redirect URIs.

I am not sure if i get this problem. I am on 4.2.6

How do you replicate this, i have just tried a few users they can login with Facebook....

Someone please let me know how I can test this if it works on my board?

I have two sites. The Facebook App I have created for the first one was built on version 2.5 and does not have any problem and the URL told above is not inserted.

Second App I have created today is built on 2.11 and had the problem above and the URL insertion solved.

I believe this is related to FB App version. Hope this helps.

Getting this error too. Did you find how to fix it?

I know I saw but I caused the second error.

First error was:

Can't load URL...

After the fix above, I get:

URL Blocked...

But thank you

You need to provide more detail - the errors alone aren't going to help.

What is your site url?

What did you put in as the OAUTH redirect url?

Screenshot the settings?

The /public/ is probably the problem. Remove that.

Well, that was stupid of me. Now one step further, I now get:

Sorry, there is a problem

Something went wrong. Please try again.

Error code: EX0

Will double check my settings

I see the same.

I have:

http://[YOU_BOARD]/applications/core/interface/facebook/auth.php

and

http://[YOU_BOARD]/oath/callback/

in my whitelisted urls

My login had been working under previous versions, but now the app needed additional permissions to manage Facebook pages. So I went through the tutorial and upgraded the settings accordingly...  all seems well until I try to log in at which point I get an unknown error. Invision simply displays:

"Something went wrong. Please try again."

lol

My app needs a new review by Facebook, but they have currently suspended reviews. I thought perhaps the log in error related to that? That said... I would have thought it would be working for me before submitting it for review. The lack of error info is a bit frustrating

In setting up a new FB app, I ran into this issue:

Invalid Scopes: publish_actions. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions

To resolve my issue, the issue was the admin checkbox that allows automatic sharing.
