I'm correct in assuming IPS only uses 1 database, right? I mean what would be the point of having more than 1? (sorry if the question is ridiculous, I inherited the site, which existed for about 10 years before I got it, and it and went through a bunch of transformations over the years) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bfarber Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Just one note in case anyone else comes across this in the future - if you use the 'archiving' feature in the forums application it is possible to store the archived posts in a remote database.
