IndianaJoe
I have upgraded(reluctantly) to 4.2.4 and have some users experiences issues trying to connect using an iPhone Safari. They get an error page that says "Safari could not open thhe page because the server stopped responding." They have tried the whole rigamorou of restarting, clearing cookies and cache, blah blah blah. Anything that I can do to test or look at on my end? IndianaJoe
Indianamat.com I have one user that can't get on. Another was able to close Safari and it came up, but took a few tries.
opentype
Works perfectly fine for me in Safari on iOS. They might just have connection problems on their end.
IndianaJoe
Thanks, all other sites and apps work fine for them. That is what is confusing.
opentype
Yes, I know this problem, but it still doesn’t mean it’s a server problem. It usually is a DNS problem on the user’s side. A site (any site really) fails and then the problems remain for that site until you (for example) reset your WIFI connection. When I have that problem, I usually switch between local WIFI and phone carrier. If the site works then, I know the webserver is running fine. IndianaJoe
I got some more feedback and it is on the Sprint network. The users aren't even getting to the website at all. One person went as far as submitting a ticket to Sprint, but they "couldn't fix it," so he switched to another carrier. Any suggestions on how to get the site to work on a specific network?
