Notices - Supporttopic

Recommended Posts

I've just purchased this and after an initial hiccup (quickly and efficiently sorted by @Fosters - Many Thanks!) is working very well.

Please could I add a suggestion for consideration. I appreciate there is a purchase filter, could you add "NOT purchased"? Then I could use it to remind members to purchase a supporter package.

Many thanks

Bill

Nope - no logs are being generated for this event oddly.

Please hang on. We've located the issue. The last release build was missing some files. A new version will be released soon

Only for guests or everybody? And could I get a link to a site where this happens?

Is there a filter on this to display within the conversations/messages area?

Hi,

Thank you for your inquiry.  The current 'location' filters at the application-level, such as Forums, Gallery, Files, or Commerce.  What you suggested is currently not available, but it's a great idea to consider.

I am getting an identical issue. Logged in as admin.

Also I don't seem to be able to get "below nav bar" notices to display

Thanks. I wonder if you could also fix the position of the notices. Particularly on devices you swipe to scroll, if you catch a notice, it moves. Perhaps an option to select move or fix?

 Now it won't be a surprise anymore:lol:

Yea, that's one of the new enhancements

Fosters Crew is pleased to present the newest version of Notices v1.0.11, available immediately in the IPS Marketplace for download.  The newest version of Notices allows your sticky notes to become even stickier with a new feature: fixed position!

Fixed Position

Notices located in the top or bottom corners will become hidden if users scroll up or down.  This is often the case for mobile and tablet use where screen size is  limited, and users pass over important notices when scrolling away.  Thus, we wanted to build a new feature to allow notices to stay in a floating spot in your viewport, which guarantees the attention of users.  This new feature is called Fixed Position.

Fixed Position allows your notice to stay in the same spot, regardless if the user scrolls up or down.  Users can still dismiss the notice, but until they do, the notice will always stay in the same location.  This is perfect for must-see notices or if your community receives a lot of mobile traffic.

Notice how the orange and blue notices stay in the same fixed position.  Live example on our website Fosters.Tech!

Could you please take a look if a column called "date_criteria" is present in your notices database table? If not, run the support tools, they should report that your database schema is broken and a link to resolve them
