WP Membership Integration

I don't want to leave IPB but I have a major issue I need to figure out.

I am setting up a membership site on WordPress. We are using a learning management system to sell courses. The membership would grant access to all of these courses.

The problem I am having is that I can't figure out how I would restrict access to specific areas of IPB based on the user being a member or a non-member (student).

Any ideas?

Software we use:

ActiveCampaign
WordPress with ActiveMember360 and LearnDash LMS
IPBoard

There doesn't seem to be a way of integrating IPB with ActiveCampaign through the tagging system.

Any particular reason why you're not using a Wordpress-first forum system like BuddyPress or bbPress?  You're going to complicate your setup the more systems you integrate.

If you'd like to continue integration with IPS, then you can maybe check the Rest API in the developer docs.

I would have to agree with Joel R. Keep it simple, stick with WordPress for all or move all to IPS, there is enough apps here to help you with your membership site including video app and active campaign integration. Then just use ips permission s to control access.

Just my 2 cents.
