I searched here to see if I could find an answer to this and failed, but could someone point me on how to allow my members to "like" my posts?

I was wondering if me being the community suite's administrator prevented that but now im lost.

You probably blocked the Administrator group from being able to receive reputation. 

Go to ACP > Members > Reputation.  Check the setting for "Groups that cannot be given reputation."
