When I check my activity I see hundreds of messages from me from RSS feeds. How can I stop that?

Are you saying the Activity stream is dropping in links from RSS blocks ? 

I was just about to add a pile of RSS import blocks for lists of links from other sites.

 

 

 

I created a new user called RSSFeeds and use that account.

What are you trying to do?

The count of my posts kept increasing with my rss feeds, so I created an account just for the feeds. Thought I was providing an answer to someone else.
