In versions before after change loading JS before '/body' tag only render blocking was all CSS. Now all JS and CSS render-blocking. I tried - I created my theme as new. There is no difference - also decrease speed. You have an error in this version guys ... very unpleasant. This has not happened even in 4.0.х versions ... See how loaded your website in a mobile version / I see this for about 0.5 sec / There are no icons The same mine site, and sites that I tested. Adlago Posted March 2, 2017 Author Share Posted March 2, 2017 Very strange... I have a page inside which load 16 images. I use block span classes and "img src=..." In custom CSS I manage sizes for different media. This my page there is only one CSS render-blocking - loads very quickly ... My home page is loaded only two images - responsive sprites / included 20 images / - all optimized. In block I load "img class... src= data:img/png......." This page also loads quickly, but much slower than described above. And this is the paradox - my home page is render-blocking 7 CSS and 7 JS !!! I did try - I added my block home page for the second block in a page with 16 images. This new page is loaded again very quickly - and just one CSS do render-blocking. And loading 16 images and 2 responsive sprites - about 300 KB. I think that your developers create priority for "img src" only- all other classes are queued, and this is bad for performance. And most important - just one CSS is render-blocking. I did not change templates. See and compare the results with the old home page ... Now Old home page Both pages have the same content. It is different only way loading images. Alone you can make sure in truth - there are links pages in the images above.
