AltarRS
doesn't look like website is reachable from outside of my server... I believe i messed up and set the hostname up as localhost in the ip board installation... Now I can't find where to change it. typing the IP or domain into the browser just says that the "localhost" file cannot be found.

Martin A.
'sql_host' is not what you're looking to change. 'base_url' is.

AltarRS
If I'm running this on a VPS what should the sql_host and base_url be set to? Both of them set to 127.0.0.1?
Taddei Jean-Baptiste
If you're running MySQL on the same host as your webserver is, so you must set "sql_host" to "127.0.0.1". For the "base_url", it must be set to the external DNS name of your server (or to the domain you've bought). In IPS4, it's the "board_url" setting ;-)
