Posted December 12, 20168 yr I just got an email from my host that one of my boards are used for sending spam. They had to block one IP (I checked that IP - it was down in the far-east I'm on the latest version IPS. I try to solve this now by switching to sparkpost for all email. Does anyone have such experience - any other suggestions?

Does anyone have such experience - any other suggestions? Do you have 'Share via Email' enabled for guests? 'Share via Email' was abused in the old IPB3 before it got fixed in that version many years ago, so I would investigate if this might be the case now in IPS4. The below topic link is from 2013.

December 12, 20168 yr The first thing that everyone should do is disable guest posting and guest sharing. Host providers take a very dim view to spam. LOLS.
