Splitting Posts Between Two Members

My forum started 5 years ago and lay dormant for 3 years. I have just got it going again.

I have a member who has posted at the start and has posted in the last 4 months under the same name.

Is is possible to change the author of the old posts to a different name and keep the posts in the last 4 months as his only posts?
