status updates not posting

Hello,

I did an upgrade from 4.1.13.2 to the latest version 4.1.16.1. After the upgrade everything seems to work perfectly except the recent status update widget.

When pressing "submit status" from the widget, nothing is posted. It just seems to refresh the page.

I already tried via support -> something is not working. Every plugin and application is disabled and i'm on the support theme. Seems the ajax posting is not working. When posting a status from my profile page it works.

Any1 had any experiences with this?

Extra info: it also doesn't seem to work on a clean install of 4.1.16.1.
