I'm looking to change the times that a daily task runs

I want to place it right in the middle of the night (3am) instead of during when the forums are at their busy time as it currently stands

Is there a way to manually edit/change when these run?

Simple and less destructive way - set your alarm for the time you want it to run, wake up and then log in to the ACP and run the task manually. Assuming it runs every 24 hours, then the next run will be 24 hours from then.

Not so easy and potentially destructive - edit the task in the database's core_tasks table and modify the next_run value.

 

I guessed that might be the best route but didn't fancy getting up at 2:30am to do it
