Sheffielder
Google is warning me I've got some render blocking javascript going on 'above the fold' There's about 9 javascript instances in the uploads folder causing it - an example below Any ideas?/forums/uploads/javascript_core/global_global_core.js.7a6c90487eed64a6a825c4c65fdf0142.js?v=c5abb81381 There error message from Google is Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content Your page has 8 blocking script resources and 7 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page. None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.

opentype
Google Page Speed is showing you areas where you MIGHT improve things, if that works for your site. But that’s just an algorithm talking. You might actually not want to deliver your site with certain JavaScripts and CSS rules loaded later. Just for fun, I just picked the first Google owned web forum I could find and let it check in Google Pagespeed. I got only 70/100 with the same page blocking warning. Even Google has no problem delivering forums like this. ;-)
