Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 7, 20168 yr Hello all, I'm hoping someone can help. I clicked to update to latest version today and everything seemed to go smoothly within admincp. It said the update was complete. All seemed well. However, I now can't access my site! I get the following error message - Site error: the file /home/togsinbusiness/public_html/community/init.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation. Can anyone shed any light? Do I need to manually replace the init.php file? If so were can I download the update files? Thanks so much in advance! Julie :-)
November 7, 20168 yr Your log says, that you need the ionCube PHP module on your server for the init.php file. The best way if you don't know how the install it, is to contact your hoster.
November 7, 20168 yr Yeah, but if it was just an update, it shouldn’t change the requirements. That’s what I asked what version and apps she is and was running. She might have downloaded the wrong files.
November 7, 20168 yr Author I'm an idiot! Indeed I did have the wrong files. Thanks so much for your help! :-)
