Can someone give me my sanity back and remind me where the default member group is set at registration. I cannot for the life in me find it this morning.

Thanks

'member_group' => 3,
'admin_group' => 4,

Wouldn't it be good to have the possibilty to change this setting in the ACP?

With IPS4: I can't find conf_global.php.  What is the new name for that file: I need to do the same thing.  Thanks.

Use FTP client and you will find it in your directory root.

Dahh!  Got it, thanks.

But how does one find the group ID to plug in to conf_global?

Hover over the group edit button in the ACP and check the URL. It will end with ID=XX
The XX is your group ID.

Cool...thanks!

It would be nice if it were included in the AdminCP list for convenience, though.

if you would have groups for each login handler (not for internal, change it on conf_global.php) I suggest this plugin

I will try to include also internal login on next version.
