Hi all

 

When I upload an image off a mobile device (mostly tested with android) images are not display in the correct orientation? I have searched the board here and only came up with the following.

That does not seem to be true though? As a lot of my members have issue when adding images via attachment?

Anything I have overlooked or need to setup?

There isn’t a setting for that. It is handled through the IPS software in combination with the graphics library you are using. If you have an image where it fails, I would suggest to open a ticket so it can checked out with that particular image on your particular site. 

So what library should it work with? I am using GD but might have the option to upgrade to imagick not sure though if that won't mess up all my already uploaded images?

This issue is with all image uploads from android and iphone (current OS versions)

You can change the library at any time. It just affects future uploads. 

Do you think that would help though?

It would be the first thing I would try to narrow down the problem.
