+BN_IT_Support 508 Posted June 12, 2016 A simple plugin that adds a text block at the top of the user signup form. I created this for a site that wanted to highlight some of their T&Cs at the top of the form but it may have other uses. Settings Show/Hide Message. 4 built in IPS message formats or plain wysiwyg text 1 Eric BXL reacted to this
+InsideEdge 79 Posted July 23, 2016 Hello Edward, I upgraded to the newest version 1.03 after my forum was upgraded to 4.1.13.2 and I am unable to see what the different formats are and also the editor isn't available to post or make any changes to my registration message. However, my message is currently present on the registration form from an earlier version.
+BN_IT_Support 508 Posted July 23, 2016 @InsideEdge I would just try uninstalling and reinstalling it. The upgraded does seem to loose things at times.

Thanks, It appears I have a bigger issue that I didn't notice until after I posted above. The CKeditor on my site isnot working site wide. I'll assume here that once that is fixed your app will work also.
+BN_IT_Support 508 Posted July 23, 2016 Certainly if the editor isn't working site-wide then that is likely to affect this plugin. That said the lack of language strings also suggests an updater issue.
+BN_IT_Support 508 Posted July 23, 2016 I would try clearing the cache to see if it is a JavaScript issue

I reverted to default settings on the CKeditor. thanks! 1 BN_IT_Support reacted to this
Joel R 4,956 Posted September 10, 2016 Minor suggestion: make the plugin-in name match the Marketplace title. 1 BN_IT_Support reacted to this
+CherryGirl69 41 Posted October 21, 2016 Very nice, thank you. The only thing is when I edit my message I do not get the option to upload a file or photo. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or not. I have the latest forum version 4.1.16.1 Thank you

+BN_IT_Support 508 Posted May 7, 2017 I would try the old 'support > something isn't working' option to clear the cache. if that doesn't work try updating it again with the same file and that might jog it into life. 1 Ioannis D reacted to this

Fixed, I had an outdated image in a custom toolbar button. Sorry for the inconvenience. Great plugin!! Works fine 1 BN_IT_Support reacted to this

+Morgin 437 Posted September 11, 2017 (edited) @Edward Shephard I note that on the http://[personalwebsite].com/register/ version of the signup form, the message appears twice. Version 1.0.4, fresh install. Edited September 11, 2017 by Morgin

+Square Wheels 617 Posted September 11, 2017 Thanks for making this, great add on! In your picks, the message shows up under Sign Up, for me, it shows up above. I ran the support tool and it stayed the same. I'm running 4.2.3. If this is the way it displays, that's great. Just checking to make sure there isn't an issue with my install. Thanks

Yes that is the way it displays in 4.2. My screenshot are from 4.0 or 4.1 but IPS changed the templates in 4.2. 1 Square Wheels reacted to this

+BN_IT_Support 508 Posted September 12, 2017 Can you send me a link please. If you compare your screenshot with the one that Square Wheels has posted you’ll see that they have a different layout. All of my sites have the same layout as Square Wheel’s so I’m not sure why yours would be different.
