Kjell Iver Johansen
As topictitle. I would like to hide images that are beeing quoted - but I can't find the setting to switch that off..
opentype
There is no setting I guess. It can also lead to weird situations when the user really wants to repeat the image to comment on it. But if you really want it, something like .ipsQuote img {display:none;} in the custom.css would probably work and clean up the quote display. If I would like to display it like a link to the picture- (as pre 4.x) - would that require a plugin?

scatteredbomb
Is there really no add-on to hide all media (embedded stuff like tweets/instagram/youtube and images)?

At that level, I think a Theme would be a better solution, although I could see how an Addon that offers on a per-user basis some toggles to turn off certain visual elements might be a nice feature. There are already addons to turn off avatars in 3.4.x. In fact, should IPS perhaps consider making that a standard feature?
