jQuery Recent Topics Ticker

Recommended Posts

This is not working as intended on 4.1.11.1 - Instead of a ticker say for 5 topics... it just shows a list of 5 topics stacked one on top of the other.  Like in a listing format.

Please disregard - It appears to be a theme issue.  Works on the default theme just fine.

I've just tested on a 4.1.11.1 community and it's working without any issues...

Could I have a look at your community?? if possible... please PM me.

Thanks for your feedback

Hi,

I have just installed on the latest version of invision and it works ok when I save and view the board index once.

As soon as I navigate to another page and return to the forum index, instead of the topics ticking through, I have a list of all 5 displayed at once in a column

Please check it with default skin firstly, then feedback by result

I have the same issue and when I want to delete the block it can't removed.

Found out why it didn't work in the custom skin.

It's because we had speeded the site by chaning this setting

Javascript include location

  • Inside the <head>
  • Just before </body> tag

So it looks like we have to decide between using this plugin or having a faster loading site.

Don't suppose there is a workaround?

I wondered about this myself.  Hopefully there is a work around as it's a neat little plugin.

Well, Let me check that... and get back to you

I would keep the jQuery effect that changes every X seconds with a subject,

I wish I could do it in five subjects at once ! For example configure the last 20 subject and jQuery effect would change 4 times with a total of 5 subjects!

Clearly instead to change subject by subject , I would like that to change by 5 subjects

Is it possible?

Sorry for my english i do my best
