I see your portal has dead links and are not helpful. Sorry to state that.
1. The important link to install is missing from the client area: https://invisionpower.com/4docs/getting-started/install-and-upgrade-r8/
2. During upgrade, your system detect that license need to be renewed and shows the link which is dead: This is the link which it shows: http://www.invisionpower.com/clients and is dead.
Kindly correct them as for a client, these important dead links and a big message that 'Please check this box if your issue is critical and causing your community to be offline or otherwise completely unusable. NOTE: Misuse of this feature may result in a $25 fee and/or the feature being removed from your account." is threatening.
As a long time client of yours, I feel these basic issues must be taken care of.
Dead links I agree with and I see they are doing their best to find them and fix them.
But as for the critical flag box's disclaimer. I say it's just. Because some people click it and ask how to make a new member group. Something like that isn't critical of urgent and IMO is abuse of the critical flag.
I would simple deploy level 1 executive who will filter requests based on priority and let the senior executive take it up at whatever time company sets it for. Even otherwise there is no commitment for the response time.
And by the way the links I pointed out are not forum (casual) links. These are linked with finance and clients. No company starts or works on compromising with a client and contracts with dead links.
