Staff Features

• ModCP Validating Member Approval
  Your moderators will be able to manage the validating/approval waiting members on the frontend
• ModCP Account Deletions
  Your moderators will be able to handle the deletion requires from your members.
• A green dot will be displayed next to a members name in topics showing his online status

  Your members will be able to request to delete their account, which your Staff can approve or cancel

  Your members will be able to report other members direct from their profile

Hi there,

After approving a new member, the icon showing the number of users awaiting approval stays the same.  So it's still showing 1 member awaiting approval and when you click on the icon there are no users to approve.

Are you using and caches? Does the 1 also appear after running the support tools?

The Member Tools settings are not appearing in the ACP under the Members tab. I've tried reinstalling the application and seeing if that would help - it does not.

There's no stand alone settings page in the ACP. Some settings are placed on the theme settings page, others on the moderator permissions page.

1. Please test on the IPS default theme

2.  If that does not resolve, please send me a PM with ACP login username and info.

I have the same problem when not approving members, when clicking not approve, the page not found, we need a brief update

I think I've found the issue and noticed several other IPS 4.2 issues. A new version will be released later today  Thanks for the patience.

We wanted to highlight one of the features in Member & Staff Tools based upon a recent discussion in Feedback and Ideas: Option for members to close their account.

We appreciate and respect the many viewpoints from both IPS users and IPS representatives.  Ultimately though, we believe in letting users control their own account information and making it easy for moderators and staff to approve those account deletions.  It's a common request on social networking and community sites, where privacy and personal information is important.  We believe that admins should have a choice in letting their users control their own profile, and that means letting them delete their own account.  

Account Deletion is very easy in Member & Staff Tools.  The user will request to delete account in his Account Settings. The moderator is notified on the front-end, and goes to ModCP to confirm deletion.  

Here are 3 good reasons to use our app:

• Cool userbar icon with bubble notifications
• Native integration with ModCP function for moderators
• Our app doesn't cost $95, which better buy you dinner, movie, and a date with Charles
