CrazyCalmMedia
Hi, We are upgrading the forum from version 3.4.8 to version 4.1.9. However we are facing issues while we are trying to upgrade. We are continuously facing the error that "there are 2 tables with incorrect collation". When we are clicking on "fix the issue", it prompts a message that says, "collations fixed where applicable" and also shows a message in red that still mentions that "there are 2 tables that have incorrect collation" (Please see the attched image for better understanding) Please help us out as we need to get this fixed. Thanking you in anticipation. Thanks and Regards,
Flitterkill
Submit a support request marked critical and staff can take care of this in a minute or two. Otherwise you'll need direct access to the database or PHPMyAdmin to change those remaining items. Edit: To clarify, staff can do it for you with direct access, or if you feel confident pushing a few buttons yourself you as well could do it. Flitterkill
Which two tables? There are/were a couple that were problematic flipping over to utf8 but in the end never really mattered.
CrazyCalmMedia
Hi Flitterkill, The two tables are : 1. ipb_faq 2. ipb_sessions However the process of upgrade is not completing. We cannot proceed beyond the step that we have mentioned. Thanks and Regards,
