Tom Irons
I've got SSL on my site and I haven't had these issues, but I'll see what I can do to help. When activating SSL on a suite you should do the following Change the base_url in conf_global.php to have https:// instead of http:// (optional) Enable Use https for logins and the AdminCP? in Login Settings, see attached image (optional) Enable Serve images from local server? in System > Settings > Posting > General (optional) If you have Commerce enable Use a secure connection for checkout? in Commerce > Payments > Settings > Checkout Let me know if that fixes the problem. MADMAN32395
Another thing to try when finished with what @Hulu said . is to run the support tool to clear up cache.

MADMAN32395
Wonder since cache is cleared and SSL is working now for him. Wonder if his browser is the js issue? What site you run on and where are you having the issues?
Mopar1973Man
I agree with madman make sure you dump all your cache, cookies and DOM's and such from your browser. I just done the SSL change over a while back there is a small period of time of weirdness. It does work just got to make sure the cache of the site is dumped and all cache and storage on your local machine is dumped. It will work.
