Nexus. Buy product once but again with different options

Regarding this option:

I am selling licenses for digital goods in my shop and this options makes perfect sense in this case. If you are granted to use something, an option to put that x times in the cart would be silly and confusing. So that option is great in principle. 

But unfortunately it doesn’t look at custom product options. In my case there are additional options available for the licenses and it makes perfect sense to buy one option once and then later you decide to buy also another option. But the setting shown above prevents that unfortunately since it is only checking the product itself, not the individual options bough. So I am asking to allow this in the future.
