profile views counting is bad

If there's an award for profile views, of course it will encourage false profile views. Why would you award that? I'm just curious. Why not award valuable content? Who cares how many times someone viewed a profile and how does that help your site grow?

If user has 500 profile views, give user an award for being "Attractive" or "Famous". It's an award, if you are having that kind of view on everything then you won't end up having a single award.

You can actually use the Like system, go to Members - Reputation - Reputation Levels.

500 Likes - Whatever you want here...
2500 Likes - Popular
5000 Likes - Genius
10000 Likes - Legend
20000 Likes - These are all custom...

This shows on their profile page, but is based on Likes, so at least it means something. Does this help?

Up this topic. In our forums we have not any awards for profile views. But our community like to cheat anything. So they are very fast get max 4 294 967 295 value. After that counter stopped (and return Out Of Range issue in IN_DEV mode.

So, can you create more good logic? Such as only one visit count per day from one loggedIn user. Without that we must hide this field.

Thanks.
