Guest
Hello, I've just upgraded to v4 and now the mod i had which put on an Ajax "Thanks" button is gone. I see there is a reputation system which can be set to positive vote only - this could function the same as my thanks, however I have a few questions: 1) When i enable it i see a count in the bottom right of a post and it is grey and seems no way to click it... What am i doing wrong here? 2) Is there any way I can convert my thanks votes into these rep points? 3) Is there an actual thanks type plugin for v4? Mopar1973Man
1. Go under your members -> group -> social tab... Now set the permissions for each group. It might be that its disabled. 2. I'm not sure about the conversion. 3. Not that I know. I would say you can change the label from "Like" to "Thanks!" then it would be the same thing. What am i doing wrong here? You would only click the count to see who has given reputation. If the count is 0 then there's nothing to open so it does nothing. You would expect to find arrows to up- and downvote on the left of the count. If you can't see them then it's either that you're looking at your own posts and so can't give reputation to them (unless you enable that feature for users) or you haven't given anybody permission to give reputation in the ACP.
