I would really like the ability to create streams based on topic and content etc. creation date and not be sorted by newest reply. I do have requests for this. Members see how the widget works for new topics and want a longer list. It would actually be cool also if the widget had "get more" results.  Thank you!

Seconded, that's a great idea.

Yes, currently you can't create streams like New Topics (newly created). It would be really great, lots of people like to see what was created and filter out the bumped older topics.

Or they could add some sort functions in the view.

Ultimately I think the more flexibility we can add to the creation of custom streams the happier everyone is going to be with them. Board owners can set things up however they want, and their members can re-customize to suit their needs. I love that members can actually replace the default stream, including the link in the upper right.
