avstu
Since the upgrade my server/host have been reporting that my disk consumption is nearly full. A lot more than what it used to be. I have turned off the uploads but i continue to have similar problems. My host has told me that the /forum/uploads/logs directory is very large and asked if I have left on some 'very verbose' logging enabled? I was wondering if this is even possible? And also, if i delete said directory will it have an effect on anything?
Ausy
Don't think you want to delete it, how large is it?
avstu
Total size: 1,607,784,376 bytes. My server people are telling me that it is growing by the day - massively and even if I was to upgrade it would fill the extra 50gb in no time. There must be something that isnt right. Ausy
Holy Moly. Mines 190kb. I would open a support ticket and get them to take a look.
avstu
Ok, I will. Wasnt sure if it was an easy fix so asked here first. Thanks.
-FP
You can delete them, but if you have files that big... that's a symptom of a problem. For instance my log files were going up to 6 gigs, and it turned out my conf_global.php was set to use utf8mb4, but the database was not capable of storing that. kotaco
There is a setting in AdminCP to change what is logged, like every little thing vs major issues. You may have it set so that it's logging every little thing.
