Does this plugin force the ads to load for each page but only display them if X amount of posts are reached according to the plugin settings? If so, this is a big flaw and could get people in trouble with adsense for hidden ads.

Hello,

My plugin doesn't hide ads.

I purchased this plugin and it seems to work great. However, I have a very important question.

I am using adsense with this plugin and the active viewable percentage is awful for the ads in the middle or towards the end of topics.

Hello @pesci   how much viewable percentage do you have  for those who have awful percentage (this is relevant sometimes) and  have you compared this percentage with previous software  /same placements?

Am asking because i am thinking of purchasing the two plugins.

if you havent made comparisons , then its rather difficult to blame it on the plugin.   please elaborate more.

I also run a forum and use between post placements, and basically they all have real bad viewability ! if you dont want to go public for the percentage you can pm me if you like.

Hello

@newbie LAC  and @Joey_M

I am also interested in this version and willing to pay for it ,  because i have been using it already in vbulletin which is the software we came from, and had been using it for 6-7 years i think.

we usually have

ad unit a)    banners that show between posts    on the first scroll, which are highest paid  (after post 3  )

ad unit b) banners from adsense or criteo or  less pricey /bulk campaigns (after post 8 )

ad unit c) banners from NGO companies or partners that we support with sponsorships  that are not paid ( after post 12 or 15 )

 at vb we just did it with custom code inserted into the postbit template.   which is very buah to use ...

 definately / must seek this option now with ipb too!

this is how Joey_M wrote it
After post x - Banner1
After post x5 - Banner 2
After post x10 - Banner 3

so
i hope you maybe hopefully make this  happen!   I need you to am willing to pay double or triple the amount of the existing plugin.

this is what Joey_M meant with saying    "maybe i can buy multiple installations"

 ....  he suggested he might purchase it 3 times, and there fore have 3 different  ad units just like the way discribed above

do you think this would work????    for people who need multiple ad units,  between posts like discribed above?

I have been using both his plugins now since they were made available. For this month I have 2 ads in between posts with a 65.99% active view viewable, I also have the other plugin with 2 ads between topics with 39.35% active view. Compare that to the header which is just using a custom key in the index, forum display and topic templates, no plugins 47.44%.

Hello

 @daveoh   i think    "2 ads in between posts with a 65.99% "     is super...

I myself havent figured out yet how the banners get their viewability percentage. there is no pattern i can figure out.

  For example yours is VERY good i think for between post banners.  Mine with a not optimized setting /old software dont get more than 40% .

I think if you get such a good viewability at the betweenposts plugin,  then , the other plugin does the same work, and the difference between viewability has other reasons.   I am not an expert in viewability, but again, if you have 2 same things, and the one works super and the other gets low viewability, then maybe its for another reason/not the plugin.

@newbie LAC   so you have changed it into working the way i discribed? because from the original screenshots i thought there is only one placement       made once !   could you perhaps show with screenshots how its done?

i ve seen the previous posts but maybe i have missed it ? thank you in advance!

edit - i checked the screenshots  again.

 what i understand the plug in right now does,

it repeats the same tag,

after x ,y,z posts.  Did i get it right?

the problem is, that what me and @Joey_M mean is to place a different tag,   at every placement

I hope i explained it well?

You are wrong ^_^

If you change pids values

hello -> 3

hello2 -> 8

hello3 -> 12

Ad "hello" will shown after the 3rd post

Ad "hello2" will shown after the 8th post

Ad "hello3" will shown after the 12th post

Would it be possible to have an ad show after the last post, regardless of which post number it is?

I use this plugin to show Google ads after 1st, 5th and 10th ad.
But on pages with less than 5 (or 10) posts, only one (or two) ad is shown.
So another ad would be inserted if "after last post" was implemented.

Hello,

I can add "l" key which mean "add ad after last post"

This plugin was working, but now in the latest version of the board it stopped working for me. I uploaded the latest version of your plugin, but can't get it going.

EDIT: I got this working again...I had to fully uninstall it, the re-install it, and that solved the issue.

Just purchased it thank you !

Can you please add an option to show ads similar to members posts ? with a generic avatar and the name "Advertisement" for example ?

There are many skins with different 'post design'. You can get html and use it.

Something like

<article itemscope="" itemtype="http://schema.org/Comment" class="cPost ipsBox ipsComment ipsComment_parent ipsClearfix ipsClear ipsColumns ipsColumns_noSpacing ipsColumns_collapsePhone">
	<aside class="ipsComment_author cAuthorPane ipsColumn ipsColumn_medium">
		<h3 class="ipsType_sectionHead cAuthorPane_author ipsType_blendLinks ipsType_break" itemprop="creator" itemscope="" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person">
			<strong itemprop="name">Advertisement</strong>
		</h3>
		<ul class="cAuthorPane_info ipsList_reset">
			<li class="cAuthorPane_photo">
				<span class='ipsUserPhoto ipsUserPhoto_large'>
					<img src="%url_to_photo%" alt="Advertisement" itemprop="image">
				</a>
			</li>
		</ul>
	</aside>
	<div class="ipsColumn ipsColumn_fluid">
		<div class="ipsComment_content ipsType_medium  ipsFaded_withHover">
			<div class="cPost_contentWrap ipsPad">
				<div data-role="commentContent" itemprop="text" class="ipsType_normal ipsType_richText ipsContained">
					Advert after X posts
				</div>
			</div>
		</div>
	</div>
</article>

Change %url_to_photo% in code on photo link
