Hello, today i saw (admin account) strange characters after profiles URLs, in topics on my forum, like:

http://pctroubleshooting.ro/profile/2-gaby/?wr=eyJhcHAiOiJmb3J1bXMiLCJtb2R1bGUiOiJmb3J1bXMtY29tbWVudCIsImlkXzEiOjE3NDY1LCJpZF8yIjoxMzExNDF9

or:

However, guests and members see the url like:

http://pctroubleshooting.ro/profile/2-gaby/

Is this normal?
Thank you!

This is because you're a moderator. The extra parameter in the profile URLs store information about the context of where you clicked the profile URL from.

For example: You see a post from John Doe where he misbehaves and this causes you to click on the profile link next to the post. After a visit to his profile you decide you wish to issue the member a warning. When you now click on the button to give a warning the information from your URL will be passed along to the warn system, which will store the information about which content triggered you to issue a warning.

It's base 64-encoded and eyJhcHAiOiJmb3J1bXMiLCJtb2R1bGUiOiJmb3J1bXMtY29tbWVudCIsImlkXzEiOjMwNzczLCJpZF8yIjoxMzEwNzF9 translates to {"app":"forums","module":"forums-comment","id_1":30773,"id_2":131071}

Yes, this is true. But why must be visible?
Moderator is not developer.

Because the URL is used to store the information to carry over to the next page and thus also make that parameter be a part of the URLs on the profile site. It's probably what IPS developers felt would be the most cost-efficient method of "transferring" the information about the context from one page to the next. I really don't see a problem with it.

You're not meant to understand what  eyJhcHAiOiJmb3J... means, it's just something used by the system internally to "remember" which content to attach to any warning you might issue after you've visited someones profile from a reportable content item.
