Indicator at the bottom of the page for rebuilding/mass background tasks running

Hi

This is actually something that may be useful for all but it would be nice if you update the site and when the various rebuild tasks are running there was a red/green indicator image at the bottom of the site to help users realise the site will be a bit a slower than normal. It would be useful for others as well because then less people would report slow performance while thats ongoing but if it changed to green or disappeared they would know to start reporting issues.

Just a thought.
