What are the benefits of imagemagick with ips4? I've just enabled it on my forum as I had to install it anyway to resize some of my jpgs that were too large. Just wondering to leave it enabled in ACP or not?

If you plan offering animated avatars/images for users that may be resized - then I'd suggest leaving it enabled as GD won't do animation.
