invision please explain this bug report

 

 

it reads here that if I upgrade to 4.0.13 then i will have to wait till 4.1 is released for this bug to be fixed

that can not be right can it ?

 

u can upgrade to 4.0.13 without problem or upgrade with problem but its always different for everybody.

try to make a test before to do in live.. u will see.

for me im in 4.0.13 and im fully happy

yep but if its got to the point where I need to do test installs of public released versions just to check if reported bugs are going to affect me then something most definitely is wrong

 

 

any chance of someone from invision answering this?

is it an individual one off  bug or is it something that will affect other users ?

No problem at all.

If there are critical bugs, ips fix it. So there is no problem at the moment, you can upgrade without any problem
