MeekelTM
So I'm looking at potentially going live with a transfer from XF -> IPB3 -> IPS4 to get all my data across. After reading over https://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/getting-started/upgrading-from-3x-to-40-things-to-know-r136/ the question I have is whether I need to let the data do any rebuilding in IPB3 such as posts, threads etc. before attempting the upgrade from IPB3 -> IPS4? craigf136
Personally, I would allow any tasks to run or manually process them before upgrading to V4 - may not be required but after a migration, better safe than sorry.
Stuart Silvester
3.x doesn't have the same concept as post upgrade/conversion rebuild tasks. Once you've converted to 3.x, you're good to upgrade to IPS4
