Hello, I was wondering where the guide was to upgrade from 3 to 4.

Do I just upload over my current install then go to admin/upgrade?

That doesn't really answer much... setting up separate test installs? I just want to upgrade my current install to 4.

 

{Comment} The following steps are with the assumption you have already created a test install of your current board and made all the preparations leaving your current live board intact.

The same, just skip the TESTINSTALL and enter your product key.

It's really simple and like most upgrades, you upload the files to your site, and proceed to /admin/upgrade

As always perform a full mysql and file system backup prior to upgrading.
