Vikestart Posted August 1, 2015 Share Posted August 1, 2015 Not really looking to start a whole discussion about Cookie Consent specifically again, but that discussion gave me a broader idea.Why can't we simply have a feature that allows us to configure a dialogue box that appears when someone is visiting the site for the first time, with a custom message and an "Accept" button?This could be used for a number of things, including cookie storage consent, warning about mature content on the site, to inform the visitor about rules, show an important message related to an announcement or event, etc. This way IPS doesn't have to mess with the specifics of laws, but instead provide a very generic tool that the site admin can use the way they want to reach out to visitors of their site.
